Service Unavailable (503)

The operation exists, but it is not enabled in the environment you called. Two operations return it:

• POST /v1/churches/{id}/verification, when church verification is not configured in that environment.
• GET /v1/financial_events, when the financial integration is not configured in that environment.

What to do: do not retry in a loop; the answer stays the same until the feature is enabled for that environment. Check that you are calling the environment you intended. If you expected the operation to be available, contact support with the request_id.

A 503 whose body is only {"message": …}, with no problem type, is not this error: it comes from the gateway in front of the API. Retry it with exponential backoff and the same Idempotency-Key; see API errors.
